"Doing what is right, fair, and honorable, is more important than winning or losing." ~Chick Moorman Something i understand from this quote is that doing what's right is more important than anything else because it's better to be honest instead of having it in your conscience for a long time. It's better to do the right things because it came give you lots of opportunities to anything you can imagine.

He that walketh with wise men shall be wise, but a companion of fools shall be destroyed. ~Proverbs 13:20 Walking with the wrong crowd can change who you've become before that. I know this from experience. I would always be out late with my friends and have my mom look for me at night worried, i didn't really care because i was with the wrong crowed and when you're with the wrong crowed you tend to not care about what's going on. I would come home late and not do my school work because i thought school didn't matter a much, but now that i look back it was wrong of me because i now i have to go to adult school and make up 9 classes i'm missing. It not easy falling with the right crowd because you tend to get bored of them and when you hang out with the wrong crowd you feel invincible because you're doing things you've never done before and you start feeling like an adult. At first it's all fun & games but then you start to realize this isn...

“Right is right, even if everyone is against it; and wrong is wrong even if everyone one is for it.” ~William Penn What I understand is that even thought everyone is against something that is right doesn't me you have to go along with it because it can get you into trouble. For example, you're are a party and all of your friends start drinking alcohol, you're the only one not drinking becasue you know it's wrong of you becaue 1. your under age and 2. your not allowed to drink any kind of alcohol. Everyone is for it becasue they think they are old enough to do things they aren't suppoed to do. Even if everyone is for something that is wrong doesn't mean you have to be.

Thanksgiving Day Thanksgiving is a national holiday celebrated on various dates in Canada, the United States, some Caribbean islands, and Liberia. It’s a day on giving thanks of the blessings of the harvest and the preceding year. It’s an annual national holiday marked by religious observances and a traditional meal including turkey. The holiday commemorates a harvest festival celebrated by the Pilgrims in 1621, and is held in the US on the fourth Thursday in November. A similar holiday is held in Canada, usually on the second Monday in October. For more than two centuries, days of thanksgiving were celebrated by individual colonies and states. It wasn’t until 1863, in the midst of the Civil War, that President Abraham Lincoln proclaimed a national Thanksgiving Day to be held each November. Thanksgiving Day is a national holiday in the United States, and Thanksgiving 2018 occurs on Thursday, November 2...

"If your so-called friends urge you to do something you know to be wrong, you be the one to make a stand for right, even if you stand alone. Have the moral courage to be a light for the others to follow." ~Thomas S. Mons on Not everyone has the same mental thinking as you. Some friends will tell you to do the wrong thing and the others will tell you not to do it because they know it's not the right thing to do. If they are your friends they won't tell you to do something that is worth getting you in trouble. It's nbot easy to find the right friends becasue everyone has different ways that can help you and not help at all.
